After much reflection regarding the type of care we wish to provide, it has become clear that Medicare reimbursement will not support this type of practice, with reimbursement rates projected to decrease 40% over the upcoming years.  We therefore will not be participating with the Medicare program for payment for our services.  Our  fees are billed directly to our patients.  This includes all office visits, in office testing and procedures, hospital visits by Dr. Bloomer and house calls.   As always, we continue to coordinate your care, and you may utilize any physician or provider, including pharmacies, laboratories, out-patient and hospital facilities under your medicare benefit.
